How to Connect Jabra Headphones or Speakers to an Avantree Bluetooth Transmitter

Follow these steps if your Jabra headphones, earbuds, or speaker will not connect to your Avantree transmitter.

Before You Start

Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, or TVs that were previously connected to your Jabra device.
Keep the Jabra device and Avantree transmitter close together while pairing.

Step 1 – Put Your Jabra Device in Pairing Mode

Simply turning your Jabra device ON is not enough. Select your model below and put it into Bluetooth pairing mode.

Jabra Elite 65t / Elite Active 65t

Start with the earbuds OFF.
Press and hold the Multi-function button on the RIGHT earbud for about 5 seconds.

Flashing BLUE = Pairing mode

You should also hear a voice prompt.

Jabra Elite 85h

Press and hold the Multi-function button on the RIGHT earcup for about 3 seconds.

Flashing BLUE = Pairing mode

You should also hear an announcement in the headphones.

Jabra Speak 710

Turn the speaker ON.
Press and hold the Bluetooth button for about 2 seconds.

Flashing BLUE LED next to the Bluetooth button = Pairing mode

Different Jabra model? Check your Jabra user manual for how to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Step 2 – Put the Avantree Transmitter in Pairing Mode

Put your Avantree transmitter into Bluetooth pairing mode. The pairing button and LED indicator vary by Avantree model, so check your transmitter's pairing guide if needed.

Step 3 – Wait for Them to Connect

Make sure the Jabra device and Avantree transmitter are both in pairing mode at the same time.
Keep them close together.
Wait a few seconds. The flashing pairing indicators should change or stop flashing once connected.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Jabra Keeps Connecting to My Phone or Computer

Turn Bluetooth OFF on that phone, tablet, computer, or TV.
Put the Jabra device into pairing mode again.
Put the Avantree transmitter into pairing mode again.
Keep them close together and wait for the connection.

Jabra Is ON but Won’t Connect

Make sure the Jabra device is in actual Bluetooth pairing mode. Simply turning it ON may cause it to reconnect to a previously paired device. Look for the flashing BLUE LED or a pairing voice prompt.
