How to connect AUDIO TECHNICA to Avantree transmitters and dongles?

Connect Audio-Technica Headphones to an Avantree Transmitter

Put both devices into pairing mode, then keep them close together while they connect.

Watching TV or video? Many Audio-Technica Bluetooth products do not support aptX Low Latency. You may notice a delay between the picture and sound.

Step 1 – Turn Off Nearby Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on nearby phones, tablets, computers, or other devices that have connected to your Audio-Technica headphones before. This helps prevent the headphones from reconnecting to another device during setup.

Step 2 – Put Your Audio-Technica Headphones in Pairing Mode

Select your headphone model below. If your model is not listed, check its user guide for Bluetooth pairing instructions.

ATH-M50xBT

1. Turn on the headphones.
2. Press and hold the + and − buttons together for about 8 seconds.

Rapidly flashing WHITE = Bluetooth pairing mode

ATH-ANC900BT

1. Turn on the headphones.
2. Press and hold the top and middle areas of the touch panel together for about 10 seconds.

Rapidly flashing WHITE = Bluetooth pairing mode

ATH-ANC300TW

1. Place both earbuds in the charging case. Make sure the case has battery power.
2. Press and hold the multifunction button on the right earbud for about 6 seconds.

RED lights = The earbuds are preparing to search for a Bluetooth device.

ATH-CKS5TW

1. Place both earbuds in the charging case. Make sure the case has battery power.
2. Press and hold the multifunction button on the right earbud for about 6 seconds.

RED light = The earbuds are preparing to search for a Bluetooth device.

ATH-WS990BT

1. Slide the Power switch to the ON position.
2. Listen for a beep or check the indicator light.

Flashing RED and BLUE = Bluetooth pairing mode

Step 3 – Put the Avantree Transmitter in Pairing Mode

Put your Avantree transmitter or dongle into Bluetooth pairing mode. The button and indicator light can differ by model, so check its user guide if needed.

Step 4 – Wait for the Connection

1. Keep the headphones and Avantree transmitter close together.
2. Make sure both devices are in pairing mode at the same time.
3. Wait a few seconds for the connection to complete.
