How to connect Apple AirPods, AirPods Pro, & AirPods Pro 2 to Avantree transmitters and dongles?

How to Connect AirPods to an Avantree Bluetooth Transmitter

Follow these steps to connect Apple AirPods, AirPods Pro, or AirPods Pro 2 to your Avantree transmitter or dongle.

Important: Your AirPods and Avantree transmitter must both be in pairing mode at the same time.

Step 1 – Turn Off Bluetooth on Nearby Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on phones, tablets, computers, or other devices that your AirPods have connected to before.

This prevents the AirPods from reconnecting to another device while you are pairing them with the Avantree transmitter.

Step 2 – Put the AirPods in Pairing Mode

  1. Put both AirPods inside the charging case.
  2. Close the lid, then open it again.
  3. Keep the AirPods inside the case.
  4. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the charging case.

Step 3 – Put the Avantree Transmitter in Pairing Mode

Put your Avantree transmitter or dongle into Bluetooth pairing mode. The button and LED can be different for each Avantree model, so follow the pairing instructions for your transmitter if needed.

Step 4 – Wait for Them to Connect

  1. Keep the AirPods and Avantree transmitter close together.
  2. Make sure both devices are in pairing mode at the same time.
  3. Wait a few seconds for them to connect.
The pairing lights should stop flashing once connected. Your AirPods are now connected to the Avantree transmitter.

AirPods Still Won’t Connect?
  1. Turn off Bluetooth on all nearby devices that were previously paired with the AirPods.
  2. Put the AirPods back into pairing mode until the case light flashes WHITE.
  3. Put the Avantree transmitter into pairing mode again.
  4. Keep both devices close together and wait for them to connect.
If normal pairing still fails, clear the pairing history or reset both the AirPods and the Avantree transmitter, then try again.
