How to Connect Beats Headphones or Speakers to an Avantree Bluetooth Transmitter

Follow these steps if your Beats headphones, earbuds, or speaker will not connect to your Avantree transmitter.

Before You Start

Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, or TVs that were previously connected to your Beats.
Keep the Beats and Avantree transmitter close together while pairing.

Step 1 – Put Your Beats in Pairing Mode

Simply turning your Beats ON is not enough. Select your model below and put it into Bluetooth pairing mode.

Beats Studio3 Wireless

Start with the headphones OFF.
Press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds.

Beats Solo3 Wireless

Start with the headphones OFF.
Press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds.

Powerbeats Wireless

Start with the earbuds OFF.
Press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds.

Flashing LED = Pairing mode

Powerbeats Pro

Place both earbuds inside the charging case.
Leave the case open.
Press and hold the System button for a few seconds.

Flashing pairing light = Pairing mode

Beats Pill+ Speaker

Turn the speaker ON.
Press and hold the “b” button for about 3 seconds.
Check the Bluetooth LED on the back of the speaker.

Flashing WHITE = Pairing mode

BeatsX Wireless

Start with the earbuds OFF.
Press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds.

Flashing LED = Pairing mode

Step 2 – Put the Avantree Transmitter in Pairing Mode

Put your Avantree transmitter into Bluetooth pairing mode. The pairing button and LED indicator vary by Avantree model, so check your transmitter's pairing guide if needed.

Step 3 – Wait for Them to Connect

Make sure the Beats and Avantree transmitter are both in pairing mode at the same time.
Keep them close together.
Wait a few seconds. The flashing pairing indicators should change or stop flashing once connected.

Something Doesn’t Look Right?

Beats Keep Connecting to My Phone or Computer

Turn Bluetooth OFF on that phone, tablet, computer, or TV.
Put the Beats into pairing mode again.
Put the Avantree transmitter into pairing mode again.
Keep them close together and wait for the connection.

Beats Are ON but Won’t Connect

Make sure the Beats are in actual Bluetooth pairing mode. Simply turning them ON may cause them to reconnect to a previously paired device. Check for the flashing lights shown for your model above.
