How to Factory Reset Bowers & Wilkins Headphones or Speakers

Clear saved Bluetooth connections if your device will not connect or keeps connecting to the wrong device.

Before you start: Make sure your Bowers & Wilkins device has enough battery power. Choose your model below.

Bowers & Wilkins PX7

Make sure the headphones are ON.
Press and hold these three buttons together for about 10 seconds:
Volume + Volume – Noise Cancellation
Keep holding until the LED turns OFF.
Release the buttons when the LED turns ON again.

Reset complete: The headphones are ready to pair again.

Reset using the app: You can also reset the PX7 in the Bowers & Wilkins app: Settings → Reset.

Bowers & Wilkins PI4 / PI3

Make sure the earphones are ON.
Press and hold these three buttons together for about 10 seconds:
Volume + Volume – Power
Keep holding until the LED turns OFF.
Release the buttons when the LED turns ON again.

Reset complete: The earphones are ready to pair again.

Reset using the app: You can also reset the PI4 or PI3 in the Bowers & Wilkins app: Settings → Reset.

Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless

Use these steps to clear the saved Bluetooth devices.

Make sure the headphones are ON.
Press and hold these two buttons together for about 2 seconds:
Volume – Bluetooth

The Bluetooth indicator flashes, then the headphones restart automatically.
The saved Bluetooth connections have been cleared.

Bowers & Wilkins T7 Speaker

Use these steps to clear the speaker’s saved Bluetooth devices.

Make sure the speaker is ON.
Press and hold these two buttons together for about 2 seconds:
Volume – Bluetooth Pair

Complete: The speaker’s saved Bluetooth connections have been cleared.

Using a different Bowers & Wilkins model? Check your Bowers & Wilkins user manual for the correct reset steps.

Reset Did Not Work?

Make sure the Bowers & Wilkins device is ON.
Press the correct buttons at the same time.
Hold the buttons for the full amount of time shown above.
For PX7, PI4, and PI3, do not release the buttons until the LED turns OFF; release them when it lights up again.
