How to Reset Bluetooth Pairing on Bose Headphones & Speakers

Clear your Bose device’s saved Bluetooth connections before pairing it with your Avantree transmitter again.

Important: Reset steps are different for each Bose model. Choose your exact model below.

Bose QuietComfort 35 / QC35 II

Turn the headphones ON.
Slide the Power / Bluetooth switch toward the Bluetooth symbol and hold it for about 10 seconds.

Release the switch when you hear: “Bluetooth device list cleared.”
Your previous Bluetooth connections are now cleared.

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700

Keep holding until you hear: “Bluetooth device list cleared.”

Slowly pulsing BLUE = Ready to pair

Bose QuietControl 30

Release the button when you hear: “Bluetooth device list cleared.”
Your previous Bluetooth connections are now cleared.

Bose SoundLink Revolve / Revolve+ / Mini II / Color II

Release the button when you hear that the Bluetooth device list has been cleared.
The speaker is now ready for a new Bluetooth connection.

Temporarily turn OFF Bluetooth on nearby phones, tablets, computers, and TVs that were previously connected to the Bose device.
Put your Bose headphones or speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode.
Put your Avantree transmitter into Bluetooth pairing mode.
Keep both devices close together and wait for them to connect.

Why turn off nearby Bluetooth devices? Your Bose device may reconnect to a previously paired device before the Avantree transmitter can connect.

Using a Different Bose Model?

Do not use another Bose model’s reset procedure. Check Bose Support for the correct Bluetooth-memory-clearing steps for your exact model.
