C81 - Airpods Keep Disconnecting – Avantree Support

AirPods won't connect to C81-Gaming or keep disconnecting? Follow these steps to fix pairing and audio interruptions.

Turn Off Other Bluetooth Devices & Reconnect

Turn OFF Bluetooth on nearby iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other devices previously connected to your AirPods.
Disconnect your AirPods from any other device they may still be connected to.
Try pairing your AirPods with C81 again. If they connect, play audio for 5–10 minutes to check stability.

Why this helps:

AirPods may automatically reconnect to a previously paired Apple device, interrupting the C81 connection.

Still not connecting or disconnecting? Continue to Step 2.

Place both AirPods in their charging case and open the lid.

AirPods Pro 3 / AirPods 4

Double-tap the front of the case until its LED flashes white.

AirPods Pro 1 & 2 / AirPods 1–3

Press and hold the button on the back of the case until its LED flashes white.

Plug C81 directly into your powered-on PS5 or computer.
Hold C81's multifunction button for 2 seconds until blue and white flash alternately.
Keep the AirPods case open and close to C81.
Wait for solid blue or flashing blue on C81 to confirm connection.

Not connecting?

Close the AirPods case for 15 seconds, reopen it, and repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Play audio continuously for 5–10 minutes with nearby Apple devices' Bluetooth turned OFF.
If using a microphone, temporarily disconnect or disable it and test the audio again.
If the issue continues, clear C81's pairing history and repeat Steps 2 and 3.

Audio stops when the microphone connects?

The audio mode may be changing. Test without the microphone to help identify whether it contributes to the interruption.

Other headphones work with C81? The issue may be specific to the AirPods connection.

Multiple headphones disconnect? C81 may need further troubleshooting.
