C81- Why is there a delay when using my Bluetooth earbuds with the C81 adapter on PS5?

The Avantree C81 supports aptX Adaptive, a low-latency Bluetooth codec designed for gaming and video streaming. To benefit from low latency, your earbuds or headphones must also support aptX Adaptive.

Many popular models — like Apple AirPods, JLab earbuds, and others — use standard Bluetooth codecs such as SBC or AAC, which have much higher latency. This can cause noticeable audio delay when watching videos or playing games on your PS5.
