Disconnected Bluetooth headphones, an incorrect Windows audio output, or a Bluetooth driver issue can prevent sound. Follow these 3 steps to fix the problem.
Check the Bluetooth Headphone Connection
Your headphones may be disconnected or connected to another device, such as your phone, instead of your Windows computer.
Plug DG45 into your computer's USB port, then check the Bluetooth connection in Windows.
Your headphones show as connected in Windows. Continue to Step 2 .
Headphones are missing or disconnected. Follow the pairing steps below.
If Your Headphones Are Not Connected
- Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, or other devices previously paired with your headphones.
- Put your Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode. Simply turning them on may not activate pairing.
- On your Windows computer, open Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
- Make sure Bluetooth is ON, then select Add device > Bluetooth.
- Select your headphone model from the available devices.
- Wait until Windows confirms that your headphones are connected.
Important: Unlike DG60P or DG80, DG45 uses Windows Bluetooth settings to pair headphones. You do not pair the headphones directly using a button on DG45.

Check the Windows Audio Output
Windows may be sending sound to your computer's speakers instead of your Bluetooth headphones. Select your headphone model as the audio output device.
Go to Start > Settings > System > Sound .
Under Output, select your connected Bluetooth headphones.
Play music or a video to test the sound.
Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select Open Sound settings.
Under Choose your output device, select your Bluetooth headphones.
Play music or a video to test the sound.
Important: Select the Bluetooth headphone name, not DG45, as the sound output. DG45 provides the Bluetooth connection, while Windows sends audio to the connected headphones.
Check the Volume, App Settings, and Driver
Muted volume, an incorrect app speaker setting, or a DG45 driver problem may prevent audio playback.
Check the Volume and Application Settings
- Play a video or music track with sound.
- Make sure Windows is not muted and increase its volume.
- Increase the volume on your Bluetooth headphones.
- If using Zoom, Teams, Discord, Skype, or another application, open its Audio / Speaker Settings.
- Select your Bluetooth headphone model as the application's speaker output.
- If using your headset microphone, select the appropriate Bluetooth headset microphone as the input device.
Sound disappears during calls? Windows may switch to the Bluetooth headset's hands-free audio mode when the microphone is active. Check the speaker and microphone selections in both Windows and your calling app.
Check the DG45 Driver
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Bluetooth category.
- Check whether DG45 is recognized without a warning icon. It may appear as Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter.
- If the adapter is missing or shows an error, try another USB port and follow the official DG45 driver installation guide.
- Restart your computer after making driver changes, then reconnect your Bluetooth headphones.
DG45 Not Detected? If Windows does not recognize the Bluetooth adapter, its driver may be missing, incorrectly installed, or conflicting with your computer's built-in Bluetooth adapter.
Follow the DG45 Troubleshooting Guide before attempting to pair again.
Before disabling built-in Bluetooth: Make sure you have a wired mouse or keyboard available. Disabling the internal adapter may disconnect Bluetooth accessories currently in use.
