Follow these four steps to check whether your DG45 driver is installed correctly and resolve common Bluetooth pairing problems.
Check the DG45 Driver Installation
First, make sure your computer recognizes the DG45 Bluetooth adapter.
- Plug DG45 into a USB port on your computer.
- Press Windows + X, then select Device Manager.
- Find and expand the Bluetooth category.
- Check whether the Bluetooth adapter appears without a driver error.
If DG45 appears in Device Manager without a driver error, continue to Step 2.
A driver error may be caused by a conflict with your computer's built-in Bluetooth adapter.

- Check nearby devices such as smartphones and tablets.
- Turn off Bluetooth on these nearby devices.
- Keep the Bluetooth device you want to connect near your computer.
- Try pairing again after disabling Bluetooth on the other devices.
Your headphones, speaker, or other Bluetooth device may try to reconnect to a previously paired phone or tablet instead of your computer.
Put Your Bluetooth Device in Pairing Mode
Your Bluetooth device must be in pairing mode before your computer can find it.
Simply turning on your headphones, speaker, keyboard, or mouse is not the same as activating pairing mode.
- Turn on the Bluetooth device you want to connect.
- Activate its Bluetooth pairing mode. The exact button or procedure depends on the device model.
- Refer to your device's user manual if you are unsure how to activate pairing mode.
Some devices enter pairing mode automatically the first time they are used. Previously paired devices often require you to activate pairing mode manually.
