If you're experiencing connectivity issues with Win 11 using our DG45, try the following troubleshooting steps below:
Step 1. Clear hidden Bluetooth Driver
1.1 Unplug/remove the dongle first from your PC
1.2 Next, open DEVICE MANAGER (accessed by pressing the Windows key + X) and click View then select ' Show hidden devices '
1.3 If the Bluetooth icon is still visible in the Device Manager, it indicates a conflicting Bluetooth driver that needs removal. Right-click each profile, choose ' Uninstall Device ', and then reboot your PC after removing all Bluetooth listings.
1.4 After rebooting your PC, revisit Step 1.2 to ensure hidden drivers are cleared, and reconnect the DG45 to your PC; it should now be recognized.
Step 2. Clear Bluetooth cache
Open the "Run" dialog (Windows key + R), type in "services.msc," and press Enter. In the Services window, locate "Bluetooth Support Service," right-click on it, and select "Restart." This action clears the Bluetooth cache and may help resolve the issue.
Step 3. Since you're using Windows 11, you need to set your Bluetooth to 'Advanced 'connection options (instead of default). Default will only find low-power connectivity Bluetooth devices.
3.1 Open Settings (Win+I).
3.2 Click on Bluetooth & devices on the left side, and click on Devices on the right side. (see screenshot below)
3.3 Under Device settings, select Advanced in the Bluetooth devices discovery drop menu (see screenshot below)
