If your DG45 or DG40S driver is installed correctly but the Bluetooth icon is missing from the Windows taskbar, follow these three steps to make it visible.
Open Bluetooth Settings
Make sure your DG45 or DG40S is plugged into your computer.
Open Windows Settings, then go to Bluetooth & other devices.
The Bluetooth settings page should show your Bluetooth controls and connected devices.
Open More Bluetooth Options
On the Bluetooth settings page, find Related settings.
Click More Bluetooth options.
Enable the Bluetooth Taskbar Icon
In the Bluetooth Settings window, select the Options tab.
Under Notifications, check the box labeled:
Click Apply if available, then OK to save the setting.
Bluetooth Icon Enabled!
The Bluetooth icon should now appear in the Windows notification area.

What If the Bluetooth Icon Is Still Missing?
Check the hidden icons menu in the taskbar, which may contain the Bluetooth icon.
If it is still missing, reopen Bluetooth Settings and confirm that Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area is checked.
What If I Can't Find More Bluetooth Options?
The screenshots above show an older Windows Settings layout. The location of Bluetooth options may differ depending on your Windows version.
On Windows 11, check Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Devices for additional Bluetooth settings.
What If Bluetooth Is Missing From Windows Settings?
If Windows does not show Bluetooth controls, check whether the DG45 driver is installed and recognized.
