HT3831 – How to Adjust the Volume
You can adjust the sound directly from your HT381 earbuds.
There are two different controls:
Volume wheel – Makes both sides louder or quieter.
L/R Balance – Makes the left or right side louder to match your hearing.
Adjust the Overall Volume
Find the Volume wheel on the earbuds.
To make the sound louder: Roll the wheel toward ＋
To make the sound quieter: Roll the wheel toward −
Tip: Start at a lower volume, then increase it slowly until the sound is comfortable.
One Side Sounds Louder?
Use the separate L/R Balance control on the earbuds.
Left side needs more sound? Turn the balance control toward L.
Right side needs more sound? Turn the balance control toward R.
Want both sides about the same? Move the balance control toward the middle between L and R.
Something Doesn’t Look Right?
TV Remote Does Not Change the Volume
This can be normal when the transmitter is connected through Optical. The TV remote may not control the earbud volume.
Use the earbuds’ Volume wheel. Roll it toward ＋ to make the sound louder or toward − to make it quieter.
Volume Is Still Too Low
- Slowly roll the Volume wheel toward ＋.
- Move the L/R Balance toward the middle.
- If using the TV’s Headphone / AUX output, turn up the TV volume too.
One Side Is Too Quiet
Check the L/R Balance control. Move it toward the quieter side, or return it toward the middle for similar volume on both sides.
