Start with the Relay's AUX connection. A plug or Dual AUX adapter that is not fully inserted can prevent the left or right audio channel from reaching your headphones.
Try These Fixes in Order
Stop once sound returns to both sides.
Check the AUX Connection
Unplug the Relay and insert it again firmly and completely into the audio jack.
Using the Dual AUX Adapter?
Make sure the Relay is fully inserted into the adapter and both adapter plugs are completely inserted into the airplane audio ports.
Turn Off Phone Bluetooth
Temporarily turn Bluetooth OFF on your phone so your headphones or AirPods do not reconnect to the phone instead of the Relay.
Reconnect Your Headphones
Restart or reconnect your headphones or earbuds, then play the audio again and check both sides.
Using AirPods Pro 2?
If one side still has no sound, refresh the AirPods connection before resetting anything.
Place both AirPods into their charging case.
Close the case, wait about 3 seconds, then reopen it.
Once the case LED turns off, remove the AirPods and test the Relay again.
Still only hearing one side?
Factory reset the Relay and your headphones / AirPods, then pair them again from the beginning.
You're done. No additional reset or settings changes are needed.
