Relay Reset Fixes Pairing Issues
Short Answer
Factory resetting your Relay clears its saved Bluetooth connections. Try this if the Relay is having trouble pairing with your headphones.
Quick Check
1. Turn on the Relay.
Slide the power switch to ON.
2. Hold + and − together for 6 seconds.
Keep holding both buttons for the full 6 seconds.
3. Look for both LED colors.
● RED + ● BLUE
The red and blue LEDs stay on together for about 3 seconds.
● Looks pink? That's normal. The red and blue LEDs are on at the same time, so the light may appear pink.
4. Wait for alternating flashes.
● RED↔● BLUE
When red and blue flash alternately, the reset is complete and the Relay is ready to pair.
✓ Reset Complete
Your Relay's previous Bluetooth pairing history has been cleared.
Most Common Issues
Nothing happens:
Make sure the Relay is powered on, then hold + and − together for the full 6 seconds.
The LED looks pink:
This is normal. It means the red and blue LEDs are on at the same time.
My headphones no longer connect automatically:
This is expected after a factory reset. The Relay has forgotten its previous Bluetooth connections, so you will need to pair your headphones again.
💡 Tip
Once you see red and blue flashing alternately, you do not need to reset the Relay again. It is already in pairing mode.
Still not working?
If the Relay is flashing red and blue alternately but your headphones still won't connect, the reset was successful. Put your headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode and try pairing again.
