Use the PS5 controller’s built-in mic

● On your PlayStation 5 → go to settings and click Sound

● Set Output Device → C81-G

● Set Input Device → Controller Microphone

Option 2️⃣ (Alternative):

Use a USB microphone plugged into the PS5

● You can use a separate USB microphone connected directly to the PS5.

● Set Output Device → C81-G

● Set Input Device → USB microphone

Most Common Issue

● PS5 does not support microphone input from Bluetooth headsets, so only audio works through C81-G.

Tip

If your voice is low, unmute and increase mic level in Settings → Sound → Microphone Level.

Still Not Working?

● Restart your PS5 and reconnect everything

● Try a different USB port (for USB mic users)

● Test mic in another app/game to confirm it’s working

● If it still fails, your mic hardware (controller or USB mic) may need checking or replacement.

Does the microphone on my Bluetooth headset work with C81-G?
