If your headphone can play sound but the microphone doesn’t work, please check the following:
1️⃣ Check call app settings
Open your communication app (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Discord).
Make sure Avantree C81-G is selected as both Output and Input device.
2️⃣ Close other call apps
Ensure no other communication apps (e.g. Zoom, Skype, Teams) are running in the background.
Multiple apps using the mic at the same time may cause it to stop working.
3️⃣ Check device batch
Before Batch No. 25J3: Double-click the MFB button to enter Call Mode (LED turns solid white).
Batch No. 25J3 & later: The adapter auto-switches between Music and Call modes — no manual action needed.
4️⃣ Still no mic?
Unplug C81-G, reconnect it, then restart your call app.
📝 Tip: “Batch No.” is printed on the product.
