Headphones may fail to connect to the SoundJet R1 if they are still connected to another device or not placed in pairing mode.
Quick Check (Using AirPods as an Example)
1️⃣ Turn OFF Bluetooth on nearby devices
AirPods often reconnect automatically to your iPhone, iPad, or laptop.
2️⃣ Put AirPods in pairing mode
Place them in the case → open the lid → press and hold the button on the back until the light flashes white.
If you don’t see the white flashing light, close the case, reopen it, and try again.

3️⃣ Put SoundJet R1 in pairing mode
Press and hold the Bluetooth button until the indicator starts blinking.
4️⃣ Keep the devices close together
Wait a few seconds for them to connect.
➡️ If it still doesn’t connect:
Put the AirPods back in the case, close the lid for a few seconds, reopen it, and repeat the pairing steps.
Why It Sometimes Doesn’t Work
AirPods automatically reconnect to nearby Apple devices, which can prevent them from pairing with other Bluetooth devices.
💡 Tip:
Temporarily turning Bluetooth OFF on your iPhone or iPad during setup usually allows the AirPods to connect faster.
Still not working?
Try these steps:
● Restart the SoundJet R1 and your AirPods.
● Reset the AirPods and try pairing again.
