If you only hear sound from one side when using SoundJet R1, it’s usually caused by a loose AUX connection, Bluetooth interference from your phone, or a pairing issue with your earbuds. Checking the connection and resetting the devices typically resolves the problem.
Quick Fix
Try the following steps in order:
1. Check the physical connection
● Make sure the SoundJet R1 is fully inserted into the audio jack.
● If using a Dual AUX 3.5 mm adapter, confirm both plugs are securely connected. Unplug and reconnect it firmly.
2. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone
● This prevents your earbuds from connecting to the phone instead of the transmitter.
3. Reset the earbuds' connection
● Put the earbuds in their charging case.
● Close the lid for about 3 seconds.
● Reopen the case and remove the earbuds.
4. Reset and pair again
● Factory reset the SoundJet R1
● Reset your earbuds.
● Pair them again from the beginning
Why It Sometimes Doesn’t Work
● Loose AUX connection – The plug is not fully seated in the audio port.
● Dual-AUX adapter issues – One of the plugs may not be fully connected.
● Phone Bluetooth interference – The earbuds reconnect to the phone instead of the transmitter.
● Pairing glitches – The transmitter and earbuds lose proper synchronization.
💡 Tip:
When using airplane entertainment systems or older audio devices, the AUX port may feel connected even when it is slightly loose. Push the plug in firmly until you feel a solid click to ensure both audio channels are transmitted.
