Orbit (TC580): How to Adjust the Volume
Not sure how to increase or decrease the volume while using your Avantree Orbit?
The correct volume control depends on how Orbit is connected to your TV.

How Is Orbit Connected to Your TV?
Option 1: 3.5 mm AUX or RCA Connection You can usually adjust the volume with your TV remote.
If Orbit is connected to your TV through a 3.5 mm AUX or RCA audio output, you should generally be able to adjust the volume using your TV remote control.
Press the Volume + or Volume − button on your TV remote.
The audio level sent to Orbit should increase or decrease.
Option 2: Digital Optical / SPDIF / TOSLINK Connection Use Orbit's volume buttons or your headphones' controls.
If Orbit is connected to your TV using a Digital Optical cable, the TV remote normally cannot change the optical audio output level.
Instead, adjust the volume using Orbit or your Bluetooth headphones / speakers, if they have their own volume controls.
Method 1: Use the Volume Buttons on Orbit
Press the + button to increase the volume or the − button to decrease the volume.
Method 2: Use Your Headphones' Volume Controls
If your Bluetooth headphones or speakers have their own volume controls, you can also use them to adjust the listening volume.
Volume Not Changing?
My TV Remote Does Not Change the Volume
If you are using an optical connection, this is normally expected. The TV remote generally does not adjust the digital optical output level.
Use the + / − buttons on Orbit or the volume controls on your headphones or speakers.
If you are using AUX or RCA, check whether your TV's audio output is configured as fixed or variable.
The Volume Buttons on Orbit Do Not Work
First, confirm that your headphones or speakers are connected to Orbit and audio is playing.
Try the volume controls on your headphones or speakers, if available.
Some Bluetooth hearing aids and speakers may not support the volume-control commands used by Orbit.
My Headphones Do Not Have Volume Buttons
If your headphones or earbuds do not have their own volume controls, try adjusting the volume using the + / − buttons on Orbit.
If the volume still cannot be changed, contact Avantree Support with your headphone or earbud model.
