Orbit (TC580): Connect Two Bluetooth Headphones at the Same Time

Want to watch TV with someone else? Avantree Orbit can stream TV audio to two pairs of Bluetooth headphones simultaneously.

Simply connect your first pair, then repeat the Bluetooth pairing process for the second pair.

Both headphones receive TV audio wirelessly from Orbit.

Connect Your First Pair of Headphones

If your first pair is already connected to Orbit, skip to Step 2.

Otherwise, follow these instructions:

Power on Orbit.
Put your first pair of headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode.
Press the Search button (magnifying glass symbol) on Orbit.
Use Orbit's navigation buttons to highlight your headphone name.
Press Enter to connect.

Connection confirmed: Orbit displays Connected when pairing succeeds.

Put Your Second Pair into Pairing Mode

Turn on the second pair of headphones and activate its Bluetooth pairing mode.

Keep the second pair close to Orbit while pairing.

Important: Make sure the second headphones are not already connected to your phone, computer, or another Bluetooth device.

Tip: Bluetooth pairing mode is different from simply turning the headphones on. Refer to your headphone manual if you are unsure how to activate pairing mode.

Find and Connect the Second Pair on Orbit

Repeat the same pairing process you used for the first headphones.

Press Orbit's Search button to scan for available Bluetooth devices.
When the second headphone name appears, use the navigation buttons to highlight it.
Press Enter to connect.
Wait for Orbit to show Connected.

Both Headphones Connected

Once the second connection is established, Orbit can stream TV audio through both pairs of headphones at the same time.

Next Time: Reconnect Automatically

On your next use, simply turn on all three devices:

Orbit transmitter
First pair of headphones
Second pair of headphones

They should automatically reconnect.

If they do not reconnect: Scroll through the headphone names displayed on Orbit, select the headphones you want, and reconnect them manually.

Having Trouble Connecting Both Headphones?

Orbit Cannot Find My Second Pair of Headphones

Make sure the second pair is in Bluetooth pairing mode, not just powered on.

Temporarily turn off Bluetooth on nearby phones or computers that may automatically connect to the headphones.

Keep the second headphones near Orbit, then press Search again.

Only One Pair Reconnects the Next Time

Turn on Orbit and both pairs of headphones. Allow a short time for automatic reconnection.

If one pair does not reconnect, find its name on Orbit's display and select it manually.

You do not normally need to repeat the initial pairing process every time.

One Pair Has Sound but the Other Does Not

Check whether both headphones are connected on Orbit's screen.

Make sure the silent pair is powered on and its volume is turned up.

If necessary, select that headphone from Orbit's device list and reconnect it.

Orbit Still Cannot Connect Both Headphones

Try pairing each pair individually to confirm that both can connect to Orbit.

If a headphone keeps reconnecting to another device, disconnect it from that device first.

You can also clear Orbit's Bluetooth pairing history and repeat the setup from the beginning.
