Set Up 1: Connect Orbit to Your TV / Audio Source

Connect your Avantree Orbit to your TV or other audio source in three simple steps.

First, identify your TV's audio output. Then connect Orbit to power and choose the matching audio cable.

Look at the back or side of your TV. Find one of these audio output connections:

Recommended: Use Digital Optical OUT if your TV has one.

Important: For red and white RCA ports, check that they are labeled AUDIO OUT. Ports labeled AUDIO IN cannot send TV sound to Orbit.

Connect the supplied micro-USB power cable to Orbit.

Plug the other end into a USB wall adapter or your TV's USB port.

Power requirement: 5V, 0.5A–2A. Your TV's USB port can also be used as a power source.

Option 1: Digital Optical / SPDIF / TOSLINK RECOMMENDED For TVs with an Optical OUT port

Connect one end of an optical cable to your TV's Digital Optical OUT port.
Connect the other end to Orbit's OPT input.
Move Orbit's input selector to OPT.
