If your Harmony 2 speaker freezes, won’t turn off, or makes a continuous buzzing, humming, or beeping sound, try a forced shutdown on the affected speaker.
Applies to batch 25L1 and later only. These speakers include a reset function for recovering from a frozen or unresponsive state. Check your speaker’s batch number before following the steps below. If your batch is earlier than 25L1 or you are unsure, please contact Avantree Support.
Step 1 — Locate the Pinhole
Open the charging-port cover. Find the small pinhole just above the USB-C charging port.
Step 2 — Force the Speaker to Turn Off
Gently insert a thin pin into the pinhole and press the button inside to turn the speaker off. Do not use excessive force.
Step 3 — Turn It Back On and Test
Turn the speaker back on and play some audio. Check that the noise has stopped and the buttons respond normally.
Still Having Trouble?
If the speaker still won’t respond, the noise continues, or the problem returns, contact Avantree Support. Tell us which speaker is affected, its batch number (if available), and what happened after the forced shutdown. A short video of the problem would also help.
