Harmony 2 – Speakers Not Connecting to the Transmitter?
If one or more Harmony 2 speakers are not connecting to the transmitter, follow these steps in order.
Important: Harmony 2 speakers must be in Broadcasting mode to connect to the Harmony 2 transmitter.
Step 1 – Make Sure Everything Is On
Turn ON:
- The Harmony 2 transmitter
- The speaker that is not connecting
Step 2 – Put the Transmitter in Pairing Mode
On the Harmony 2 transmitter, press and hold ADD DEVICES for 2 seconds.
Step 3 – Set the Speaker to Broadcasting Mode
Double-press the M button to switch the speaker to Broadcasting mode.
Wait a few seconds for the speaker to connect.
⚠ Important: If the speaker is in Bluetooth mode, it will not connect to the Harmony 2 transmitter.
Flashing RED & BLUE = Bluetooth mode
If you see the RED & BLUE lights flashing, double-press M again to switch to Broadcasting mode.
Something Doesn't Look Right?
Only One Speaker Is Not Connecting?
Leave the working speakers alone. Repeat the steps above with only the speaker that is not connecting.
Speaker Is Flashing Red & Blue?
Flashing RED & BLUE = Bluetooth mode
Double-press the M button to switch to Broadcasting mode. Listen for “Broadcasting mode” and make sure the LED is blinking WHITE.
Still Flashing White and Not Connecting?
Make sure both devices are ready to connect at the same time:
