Before You Start: If your speaker won’t charge or turn on, the problem may be caused by a faulty USB cable, power source, loose charging connection, or drained battery.
Important: The speakers have rechargeable batteries. The transmitter has no battery and must remain connected to power.
Step 1 – Check the Speaker’s Charging Light
- Connect the speaker to a 5V / 1–2A USB wall charger using a USB-C cable.
- Check the battery indicator.
- If there are no lights, try a different USB-C cable, wall charger, and power outlet.
Have another Harmony speaker? Use its working charging cable and adapter to test the affected speaker.
Step 2 – Check the Charging Port
- Unplug the USB-C cable.
- Check the charging port for dust, damage, or a loose connection.
- Reconnect the cable firmly and check the charging light.
Important: Do not insert metal or sharp objects into the port.
Step 3 – Speaker Still Won’t Turn On?
- Connect the speaker to a working USB-C cable and wall charger.
- Leave it charging for 30–60 minutes, especially if it has not been used for a long time.
- Disconnect the cable and turn the speaker ON.
Speaker turns on? Allow it to finish charging. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours.
Step 4 – Transmitter Won’t Turn On?
Skip this step if only the speaker is affected.
- Connect the transmitter to a 5V / 2A USB power adapter.
- Switch it OFF, wait 10 seconds, then switch it ON.
- If there are no lights, try another USB cable, adapter, and outlet.
Note: The transmitter must remain connected to power during use.
Still Not Working?
If the speaker still won’t charge or turn on, the battery or charging circuit may need inspection. If only one speaker is affected, tell us which one. Please include which device is affected, what charging lights appear, and whether another cable or charger worked.
