If your Slumber 2 is connected but you cannot hear sound, follow the steps below.
Step 1 — Unplug and Reinsert or Gently Rotate the 3.5 mm Plug
Unplug the pillow speaker’s 3.5 mm plug from the remote, then plug it back in fully. Alternatively, gently rotate the fully inserted plug. Play audio and check whether you hear sound.
Step 2 — Switch Between White Noise and Bluetooth Modes
Switch the remote to White Noise mode, then back to Bluetooth mode. For Bluetooth, make sure your phone is connected and playing audio. Check whether sound works in either mode.
Step 3 — Try Another 3.5 mm Audio Source
Unplug the pillow speaker’s 3.5 mm plug from the remote and connect it directly to another device’s 3.5 mm headphone output, such as a laptop. Play audio and check for sound, then plug the speaker back into the remote.
Step 4 — Select the Slumber 2 Audio Output
For Bluetooth playback, select Avantree Slumber 2 as your phone’s audio output. On iPhone, open Control Center, tap the playback destination button, and select Avantree Slumber 2.
Step 5 — Raise Both Volume Controls
Start with the remote volume low. Set your phone’s media volume to 80–100%, then slowly turn the Slumber 2 remote’s volume wheel toward + while audio is playing.
