Harmony 2 – No Sound?
Follow these checks in order to find where the sound is stopping.
Step 1 – Check the Speaker Connection
Blinking WHITE = Speaker is not connected yet.

Press the
button once to make sure the speaker is not muted.
- Turn up the speaker volume.
- Turn up the volume on your TV, phone, or audio device.
Step 3 – Check the Transmitter Audio Input
Check the Audio Input switch located on the left side of the transmitter.
Step 4 – Check Your Audio Connection
Using Optical?
- Push the optical cable firmly into the TV and transmitter.
- Set TV Sound Output to Optical / Digital Audio Out.
- Set Digital Audio Format to PCM.
Using AUX / 3.5 mm?
- Reconnect the cable firmly at both ends.
- Use your TV's Headphone / Audio Out / AUX Out port.
- Turn up the TV or device volume.
Using Bluetooth with a Phone or Tablet?
Connect your phone or tablet via Bluetooth to the Harmony 2 transmitter.
Do not connect the phone or tablet directly to an individual speaker.
Play audio and increase the phone or tablet volume.
Step 5 – Make Sure the Speaker Is in Broadcasting Mode
If needed, double-press M and listen for “Broadcasting mode.”
Something Doesn't Look Right?
Speaker Is Solid White but Still No Sound?
The speaker is already connected. Check the Audio Input switch, TV/device audio output, PCM setting, cable, and volume.
Only One Speaker Has No Sound?
If the other speakers work, your TV and transmitter are already sending audio.
- Make sure that speaker is SOLID WHITE.

Press the
button once.
- Turn up that speaker's volume.
