How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History?
Clear previously saved connections and start with a fresh pairing.
When Should I Reset My C82 LEA?
Try clearing the pairing history if:
- The C82 LEA won't connect to your headphones or hearing aids.
- It keeps reconnecting to a previously paired device.
- You're replacing your old headphones or hearing aids with a new pair.
- Pairing repeatedly fails even after restarting both devices.
- You want to remove all previously saved connections and start over.
Before You Start
Resetting the C82 LEA removes its previously saved pairing information.
- Keep the C82 LEA plugged into a powered USB port.
- The reset clears both Classic Bluetooth and LE Audio pairing information.
- Your headphones or hearing aids will need to be paired again after the reset.
Plug In the C82 LEA
Connect the C82 LEA to a powered USB port. Keep it plugged in throughout the reset process.
Put the C82 LEA Into Pairing Mode
Press and hold the PAIR button for 2 seconds. Release it when the LED begins flashing.
Blue + White Flashing
Classic Bluetooth pairing mode
Green + White Flashing
LE Audio pairing mode
Quickly Press the PAIR Button Twice
While the C82 LEA is flashing Blue + White or Green + White, quickly press the PAIR button twice.
Two quick presses — do not press and hold.
Confirm the Reset
After the double-press, watch the LED on the C82 LEA.
Solid White for About 5 Seconds
This confirms that the saved pairing history has been cleared.
If you see the solid white LED for about 5 seconds, the pairing history has been successfully cleared.
Pair Your Device Again
After the reset, the C82 LEA will automatically enter pairing mode.
You can now pair your headphones or hearing aids again.
What Should I Do After Resetting?
Using Bluetooth Headphones?
- Put your headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Make sure the C82 LEA is also in pairing mode.
- Keep both devices close together and wait for them to connect.
Using LE Audio Hearing Aids?
- Make sure the C82 LEA is in LE Audio mode.
- Look for the Green + White flashing LED.
- Put both hearing aids into pairing mode.
- Keep the hearing aids close to the C82 LEA while pairing.
Reset Didn't Work?
No solid white LED after double-pressing?
- Keep the C82 LEA plugged in.
- Hold PAIR for 2 seconds.
- Wait for Blue + White or Green + White flashing.
- Release the button.
- Quickly press PAIR twice.
The double-press must be performed while the C82 LEA is already in pairing mode.
Reset worked, but it still won't pair?
- Put your headphones or hearing aids back into pairing mode.
- Turn off Bluetooth on nearby devices that could automatically reconnect to them.
- Keep your headphones or hearing aids close to the C82 LEA.
- Try pairing again.
What Does the Reset Erase?
The reset clears pairing information stored on the C82 LEA, including:
- Previously paired Classic Bluetooth devices
- Previously paired LE Audio devices
After resetting, your headphones or hearing aids will need to be paired with the C82 LEA again.
