Harmony – Play Phone Audio Through Multiple Speakers

Yes. You can play phone or iPad audio through multiple Harmony speakers at the same time.

To send phone or iPad audio to multiple Harmony speakers, use the upgraded Harmony 2 transmitter.

Connect your phone to the Harmony 2 transmitter—not directly to each speaker.

The transmitter sends the same audio to all connected Harmony speakers.

Step 1 – Set the Transmitter to Phone

1. Turn the Harmony 2 transmitter ON.
2. Move the Audio Input switch to Phone.

Step 2 – Connect Your Phone or iPad

1. Open Settings → Bluetooth.
2. Select Avantree Flex Base.
3. Wait for the connection to complete.

Step 3 – Set the Speakers to Broadcasting / TV Mode

Turn ON each Harmony 2 speaker and double-press the button until you hear “Broadcasting mode.”

Step 4 – Connect the Speakers

If your speakers are already connected to the transmitter, leave them alone. You do not need to pair them again.

To add a new speaker:

1. Keep the new speaker close to the transmitter.
2. Make sure it is in Broadcasting / TV mode: Flashing WHITE.
3. Press and hold the transmitter’s button for about 2 seconds.
4. Wait a few seconds for the connection.

Step 5 – Play Audio

Play music, a video, podcast, audiobook, or other audio on your phone or iPad.

Increase the phone volume if needed. You can also adjust the volume on each speaker individually.
