Harmony / Harmony 2 – How to Add More Speakers
Add another compatible Harmony speaker to your transmitter so all connected speakers can play the same audio at the same time.
Good to Know
Your existing speakers do not need to be paired again. Leave the speakers that are already working alone and pair only the new speaker.
Before You Start
- Turn ON the Harmony transmitter.
- Keep the new speaker close to the transmitter while pairing.
- Add one new speaker at a time.
- Make sure the new speaker is in Broadcasting mode.
Step 1 – Put the New Speaker in Broadcasting Mode
Turn ON the new Harmony speaker.
If needed, double-press the M button until you hear “Broadcasting mode.”
Step 2 – Put the Transmitter Into Pairing Mode
On the Harmony transmitter, press and hold the
ADD DEVICES
button for about 2 seconds.
Step 3 – Wait for Them to Connect
Keep the new speaker close to the transmitter and wait a few seconds.
Step 4 – Add Another Speaker
To add another speaker, repeat the same steps with the next new speaker. Pair additional speakers one at a time.
Something Doesn't Look Right?
Speaker Says “Bluetooth Mode”?
A Harmony 2 speaker in Bluetooth mode will not connect to the Harmony transmitter.
Double-press the M button until you hear “Broadcasting mode.”
New Speaker Is Blinking but Won't Connect?
- Make sure the speaker is in Broadcasting mode .
- Move the speaker closer to the transmitter.
- Make sure the transmitter is flashing WHITE.
- Press and hold ADD DEVICES for about 2 seconds again.
- Wait a few seconds.
