Harmony – Can I Connect Other Bluetooth Headphones or Speakers?
No. Regular Bluetooth headphones, earbuds, or speakers cannot connect directly to the Harmony transmitter.
Why Won't My Bluetooth Device Pair?
The Harmony transmitter uses a dedicated 2.4 GHz wireless connection to send audio to compatible speakers and receivers. It does not use standard Bluetooth for this connection. That's why regular Bluetooth headphones, earbuds, and speakers will not pair with the Harmony transmitter.
What Can I Connect to the Harmony Transmitter?
Harmony requires a compatible Avantree receiver designed to work with the same 2.4 GHz wireless system.
Want to Add More Harmony Speakers?
You can add up to 100 compatible Harmony speakers to the Harmony transmitter. Pair each additional compatible speaker with the transmitter.
How to Add More SpeakersWant to Use Headphones Instead?
Regular Bluetooth headphones cannot connect directly to the Harmony transmitter. You need a compatible Avantree 2.4 GHz receiver, such as certain Quartet / Quartet 2 receivers or Duet receivers. Check the exact receiver model before purchasing.
Already Have Bluetooth Headphones, Earbuds, or a Speaker?
If the device only supports standard Bluetooth, it cannot be added to the Harmony transmitter's wireless group.
