Roku TV – No Sound Through Avantree Headphones or Speakers

Set the Roku audio format to PCM-Stereo or Stereo, then check your TV's PCM setting if you use an Optical connection.

Step 1 – Set Roku Audio to PCM-Stereo

1. Using your Roku remote, go to Settings → Audio.
2. Look for HDMI or Digital Output Format / S/PDIF and ARC.
3. Set the audio format to PCM-Stereo or Stereo.

Step 2 – Check Your TV PCM Setting

If there is still no sound and your Avantree transmitter is connected to the TV using Optical, open the audio settings on your actual TV and set its Digital Audio Format to PCM.

Test the sound again.

Play a Roku channel or video after changing the settings.
