AT&T U-VERSE AUDIO SETTINGS

AT&T U-verse TV – No Sound Through Avantree Headphones or Speakers

If you get no sound when watching AT&T U-verse TV, change the audio format on your U-verse receiver.

Important: Set the U-verse receiver's Digital Audio Output to STEREO.

Step 1 – Open the Audio Settings

Using your AT&T U-verse remote:

Press the MENU button.
Select Options.
Select Audio/Language.
Select Digital Audio Output.

Step 2 – Select Stereo

Set Digital Audio Output to STEREO, then select Save.

Step 3 – Check Your TV Audio Setting

If there is still no sound and your Avantree transmitter is connected to the TV using Optical, open the audio settings on your actual TV and set its Digital Audio Format to PCM.

Test the Sound

Play an AT&T U-verse TV channel after changing the setting. Your Avantree headphones or speakers should now receive sound.
