Watch the connection process, or follow the written instructions below at your own pace.
Make sure DG45 is plugged into your Windows computer and Bluetooth is available in Settings. Your PS5 DualSense controller should also have sufficient battery charge.
This guide connects the controller to a Windows PC, not directly to a PS5 console.
Prepare Your PS5 Controller
- Plug DG45 into a USB port on your Windows computer.
- Make sure Bluetooth is available in Windows Settings.
- Disconnect the PS5 controller from any USB cable.
- Make sure the controller is turned off before activating Bluetooth pairing mode.
Turn off the PS5 console to prevent the controller from reconnecting to it during the pairing process.
Put the PS5 Controller in Pairing Mode
On your DualSense controller, press and hold the Create button and PS button at the same time.
Keep holding until the controller's light bar begins flashing rapidly.
The flashing light indicates that the controller is ready to be discovered by your Windows computer.
Connect the Controller in Windows
Open Bluetooth device pairing on your Windows computer.
Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Add device → Bluetooth
Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices → Add Bluetooth or other device → Bluetooth
- Wait for Windows to discover nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Look for Wireless Controller or the controller's displayed Bluetooth name.
- Select the controller to begin pairing.
- Wait until Windows confirms the connection.
Repeat Step 2 and confirm that the controller's light bar is flashing before searching again.
Verify the Controller Connection
- Open Bluetooth & devices in Windows Settings.
- Check that your controller appears in the paired or connected devices list.
- Open a game or controller-testing application to confirm that the buttons and joysticks respond.
Controller Connected!
Your DualSense controller is now paired with your Windows PC through DG45.
Bluetooth pairing does not guarantee compatibility with every PC game. Some games require controller configuration or compatible controller support through their game launcher.
