Turn Everything On in the Correct Order

The HT280 headphones and transmitter are designed to connect automatically. Follow the four steps below in order.

Make sure the TV, transmitter, and headphones are all turned OFF.

TV OFF

Headphones OFF

Transmitter OFF

Then turn the TV ON first and start playing something with sound.

Press and hold the Power/MFB button until the headphone LED starts flashing green.

Flashing Green The headphones are powered on and waiting for the transmitter.

Connect the transmitter to power, then slide its power switch to ON.

Keep the headphones close to the transmitter while they connect.

Give the headphones and transmitter a few seconds to connect automatically.

Solid Green The LEDs turn solid green when the connection is successful.

Your headphones and transmitter are now connected.

Try the power-on sequence again before doing any additional troubleshooting.

Turn the TV, headphones, and transmitter OFF.

Turn the TV ON and start playing content.

Turn the headphones ON and wait for the flashing green LED.

Turn the transmitter ON and wait 2–5 seconds.

Next Step

Once the headphones and transmitter are connected, make sure your TV is sending a compatible audio signal to the transmitter.

If the LEDs still do not turn solid green after repeating the steps above, send us a support request.
