HT5009 Power and Connect – Avantree Support

The HT5009 headphones and transmitter are already paired. Normally, you only need to power on both devices and wait a few seconds for them to connect.

Charge → Power On → Wait 2–5 Seconds

You do not need to manually pair the included headphones during normal use.

Already charged?
Turn on the transmitter and headphones, then wait 2–5 seconds. You should hear “Connected.”

Follow these quick checks in order.

Charge the headphones if needed

If the battery may be low, connect the headphones to power and allow them to charge.

Red = Charging Light OFF = Fully charged

Power specification: Use a 5V / 0.5–2A USB power source.

Power the transmitter

Connect the transmitter to power using the included USB cable, then slide the transmitter's power switch to ON.

Recommended for daily use TV USB Port The transmitter can power on and off together with the TV when the TV's USB port follows the TV's power.

5V USB Wall Adapter You can also use a 5V / 0.5–2A USB wall charger.

Turn on the headphones

The power method depends on which version of the HT5009 headphones you have.

Newer Version — Batch T22B1 & Later Slide the headphone power switch to ON.

Older Version — Before T22B1 Press and hold the Power / MFB button until the headphone LED flashes blue.

Wait 2–5 seconds

Keep the transmitter and headphones powered on. They should reconnect automatically.

Confirm the connection

Check the lights on both devices.

Headphones: Solid blue Transmitter A: Solid white Transmitter LL: Solid white

You should also hear “Connected” through the headphones.

If the headphone LED is solid blue and the transmitter's A and LL lights are solid white, the headphones and transmitter are connected.

Not Connecting?

Select the issue that best matches what you're seeing.

The headphones don't turn on

Charge the headphones first. When connected to power:

Red LED: the headphones are charging.
LED turns off: charging is complete.

After charging, disconnect the cable and try turning the headphones on again.

The transmitter doesn't turn on

Check that the USB power cable is fully connected.
Make sure the transmitter's switch is set to ON.
If using the TV's USB port, make sure the TV is powered on.
If needed, test with a 5V / 0.5–2A USB wall adapter.

Both are on, but they don't connect

Restart both devices:

Turn the headphones OFF.
Turn the transmitter OFF.
Turn the transmitter back ON.
Turn the headphones back ON.
Wait another 2–5 seconds.

The lights show connected, but I can't hear TV audio

If the headphones show solid blue and the transmitter's A and LL indicators are solid white, the headphones and transmitter are already connected.

Check the TV audio connection and TV sound settings instead of pairing the headphones again.
