Reset both the transmitter and headphones to clear their Bluetooth pairing history, then turn them back on to reconnect.
Turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, and other Bluetooth devices before starting. This prevents the HT5009 from connecting to another device during the reset.
Reset Both Devices
The HT5009 transmitter and headphones are factory paired and locked together. Resetting clears other pairing history, but the original set remains paired and locked.
Reset the Transmitter
Turn the Transmitter On
Make sure the transmitter has power, then switch it ON.
Hold + and − Together for 7 Seconds
Press and hold the transmitter's + and − buttons at the same time. Do not release them yet.
HOLD TOGETHER · 7 SECONDS
Wait for the Green & White Flashing Light
Keep holding the buttons until the transmitter's connection indicator starts flashing GREEN and WHITE. Then release the buttons.
Batch before T23H1: Check the TX indicator.
Batch T23H1 and later: Check the 1 / 2 connection indicators.
Turn the Transmitter Off
After the reset is complete, switch the transmitter OFF.
Reset the Headphones
Turn the Headphones On
Make sure the headphones are powered ON.
Hold + and − Together for 10 Seconds
Press and hold the headphone + and − buttons together for 10 seconds.
HOLD TOGETHER · 10 SECONDS
Watch for the Pink Light
Keep holding until the red and blue LEDs are both on for about 2 seconds. Together, they may look pink. This means the headphone pairing history has been cleared.
Wait for Pairing Mode
After the reset, the headphones automatically enter pairing mode. The LED will flash red and blue alternately.
Turn the Headphones Off
Once you see the red and blue pairing light, turn the headphones OFF.
Turn Both Devices Back On
The original HT5009 transmitter and headphones should reconnect automatically after the reset.
