Ensemble Pro – No Sound From Headphones?
Follow these steps if your Ensemble Pro (HT5150R) is connected to your TV but you cannot hear sound.
Before You Start: Play a TV channel or video that has sound. Keep it playing while checking the settings below. You do not need to factory reset your headphones.
Step 1 – Check the TV Audio Cable
- Check the cable connecting your TV to the Ensemble Pro transmitter / charging dock.
- Make sure it is firmly connected at both ends.
- Select the matching audio input on the transmitter:
- OPT – For an Optical cable.
- AUX – For a 3.5 mm audio cable.
Tip: Optical is recommended if your TV has an Optical Audio Out port.
Step 2 – Check Your TV Audio Settings
Open the section that matches your cable connection.
Using an Optical Cable (Recommended)
- Press Quick Settings or Home on your TV remote.
- Open Settings → Display & Sound → Audio Output.
- Find Digital Audio Out.
- Set Digital Audio Out → PCM.
Can't find the PCM setting? TV menus vary by brand and model.
Find PCM Settings for Your TV Brand →Using an AUX / 3.5 mm Cable
- Connect the cable to your TV's Headphone / Audio OUT jack.
- Select Headphones / Audio Out in the TV sound settings if required.
- Increase the TV volume and make sure it is not muted.
Step 3 – Check the Transmitter's Input Signal
- Keep your TV program or video playing.
- Look at the Input Signal indicator on the transmitter.
Steady signal indicator: The transmitter is receiving audio. Continue to Step 4.
Flashing / no signal: Recheck the TV audio output, PCM setting, and cable connection.
Step 4 – Check the Headphone Connection
- Turn on the Ensemble Pro headphones.
- Wait for the headphones to connect to the transmitter's Auracast broadcast.
- Check the headphone indicator light.
Solid Orange – Connected to Auracast
If the headphones are still searching, turn them off and back on near the transmitter, then wait for the connection.
Important: For normal TV listening with the included transmitter, use Auracast. You do not need to pair the headphones through your TV's Bluetooth menu.
Step 5 – Check the Volume
- Press Volume + on the headphones to increase the sound.
- If the volume is still too low, locate the Volume Boost switch on the transmitter.
- Slide it from Normal to High if more volume is needed.
Only Certain Apps or Channels Have No Sound?
If regular TV audio works but Netflix, Prime Video, a streaming stick, or a cable box does not:
- Open the TV or streaming device's audio settings.
- Change the digital audio format to PCM or Stereo when available.
- Play the program again to test.
