If your Slumber 2 has no sound, including when your phone shows it as connected, follow the checks below.
Check These First
- Make sure the remote is charged and switched on.
- For Bluetooth playback, check that the remote’s BT light is solid blue. Flashing red and blue means it is ready to pair.
- Open an audio app on your phone, choose a track, and tap Play.
- Select Avantree Slumber 2 as the audio output. On iPhone, open Control Center and use the playback destination selector. Make sure audio is not being sent to your phone speaker, hearing aids, or another Bluetooth device.
- Start with the Slumber 2 remote volume low. Set your phone’s media volume to 80–100%, then slowly turn the remote’s volume wheel toward + while checking for sound.
Step 1 — Reconnect the Speaker Plug
Unplug the pillow speaker’s 3.5 mm plug from the remote, then plug it back in fully and securely. Play audio again to check for sound.
Step 2 — Try Another 3.5 mm Audio Source
Unplug the pillow speaker’s 3.5 mm plug from the remote and connect it directly to another device’s 3.5 mm headphone output, such as a laptop. Play audio and check whether you hear sound, then reconnect the speaker to the Slumber 2 remote for Step 3.
Step 3 — Switch Between White Noise and Bluetooth Modes
Switch the remote to White Noise mode, then back to Bluetooth mode. For Bluetooth, make sure your phone is connected and playing audio. Check whether sound works in either mode.
