Medley Pebble 2 — Cannot Find an Auracast Broadcast in the App

Step 1 — Download the Avantree-Avantalk App

Download the Avantree-Avantalk app and make sure you have version v1.4.7 installed. If you already have the app, check for an update in your app store.

1. Connect your earphones to your phone via Bluetooth.
2. Open the app and select your earphones. If they are not listed, tap Add Device and follow the instructions to add them.

Step 2 — Update Your Earphones to Firmware v2.7.2

Make sure your earphones are updated to firmware v2.7.2.

If new firmware is available, a Firmware Upgrade pop-up will normally appear after your earphones connect to the app.

1. Tap Confirm in the pop-up to proceed to Device settings.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware to v2.7.2.
3. Keep your earphones powered on and connected until the update finishes.
4. Complete the reset and reconnection steps in the guide before searching for an Auracast broadcast again.

No pop-up? Open your earphones’ device page, tap the gear icon in the top-right corner, and check for a firmware update. Tap Update Now if an update is available.

Step 3 — Search for the Broadcast Again

1. Make sure the Auracast transmitter is powered on and broadcasting.
2. Keep your phone and earphones within 2 meters of the transmitter.
3. Stop any Bluetooth music or audio playing from your phone.
4. Open Auracast → Available Broadcasts in the app.
5. Tap the scan/refresh icon, allow the search to finish, and select your broadcast.

Still Cannot Find the Broadcast?

If the broadcast still does not appear after these steps, contact Avantree Support.
