If your Medley Pebble 2 is connected but you hear no sound, please follow the steps below in order:
1. Check All Cable Connections
Make sure the USB-C power cable is properly connected to the TV’s USB port or a power outlet.
Ensure the audio cable is firmly plugged in:
Optical: Transmitter OPTICAL → TV Optical Out
AUX: Transmitter AUX → TV Headphone / AUX Out
Try unplugging and reconnecting the cables to ensure a secure connection.
If you are using a soundbar with HDMI-ARC, temporarily unplug it and test Medley Pebble 2 again.
2. Confirm TV Audio Settings (Very Important)
If using Optical connection:
- Sound Output → set to Optical
- Digital Audio Format → set to PCM (Required)
⚠️ Formats like Dolby / Auto / Bitstream are not supported.
If using AUX (Headphone jack):
- Set TV Sound Output to Headphones
3. Check Transmitter Status
The Audio Input LED on the transmitter should be solid white, indicating a valid audio signal.
If there is no light, the TV is not sending audio to the transmitter — recheck Step 2.
4. Check Earbuds Connection Status
- Remove the earbuds from the base.
- When successfully connected via Auracast:
→ LED should be solid orange
If not connected:
- Put the earbuds back into the base, then take them out again
- Or restart the earbuds to rejoin the broadcast
5. Check Volume Levels
- Adjust volume using the earbud buttons (+ / −)
- Increase TV volume (if available):
- Optical: TV volume may be fixed
- AUX: TV volume may control sound
- If volume is still low:
→ Turn on Volume Boost on the transmitter
6. Test with Another Source
- Try a different TV channel, app, or video
- If possible, test with another TV to rule out TV issues
