Echo happens because TV speakers play sound instantly, while Auracast audio to hearing aids has a small delay. When both play together, the timing difference creates an echo.
Quick Check
1. Lower TV volume – Reduce TV speaker volume and increase hearing-aid volume.
2. Turn off TV sound effects – Set your TV to Standard / Normal / Original and disable any sound effects or processing (Voice Enhancement, AI/Adaptive Sound, Surround, Dolby/DTS) that can delay audio and cause echo.
3. Check TV audio settings – Look for Audio Delay / AV Sync and adjust it slightly if you see the option.
4. Try turning off TV speakers – If echo continues, listen through hearing aids only.
5. Restart devices – Restart the TV and transmitter if it still doesn’t work.
If it still happens, consider connecting a wired speaker to an Auracast receiver so both receive the same audio at the same time. Learn More Here:
Why This Happens
Auracast hearing aid audio is slightly delayed compared with the TV speakers, and extra TV sound processing makes that delay more noticeable.
💡 Tip:
Many users keep the TV speakers muted and adjust the volume on their hearing aids or transmitter instead.
