Before You Start: Audio settings or loose connections can interrupt the sound, while one-sided sound or unresponsive controls may point to a headphone issue. Follow these steps to narrow down the cause.
Step 1 – Check TV Audio Settings
Skip this step if your headphones are connected directly to a phone, tablet, or computer.
- AUX / 3.5 mm: Make sure the audio cable is securely connected to the TV and transmitter.
- Optical: Set the TV’s Digital Audio Output to PCM.
- Try another TV channel or video.
Step 2 – Check Volume & Volume Buttons
- Increase the volume on both the headphones and the connected device.
- Play another song or video to check the volume.
- If the volume buttons do not respond, turn the headphones OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn them ON.
Still too quiet? Connect the headphones to another phone or tablet and test again.
Step 3 – Fix Distorted or Unclear Sound
The Audition 3 starts in Voice Clear Mode, which emphasizes speech.
- Press the EQ button on the left earcup once.
- Listen for “Balanced Mode.”
- Play the same audio again.

- Check the connection:
- Bluetooth: Disconnect and reconnect the headphones.
- AUX / 3.5 mm: Unplug and firmly reconnect the cable at both ends.
- On a phone or computer, center the Left/Right audio balance.
- Connect the headphones to another phone or tablet and test again.
Still hearing sound from only one side? The headphones may need further inspection.
