How to Fix Bad FM Reception?

If the FM reception is weak or noisy, try the following steps:

• Extend the antenna fully before scanning—this is essential for getting good FM reception.

• If very few stations are found, hold the FM button for 2 seconds to run another scan.

• If some stations have noise or don’t sound clear, use 〈TUNE / TUNE〉 to fine-tune the frequency manually in 0.1 MHz steps until the signal improves.

• If the reception is still poor, try moving the radio near a window or away from Wi-Fi routers and other electronic devices that may cause interference.
