If your PowerByte is not charging, it may be too warm, especially if you're using it at high volume (80–90%) while charging. To protect the battery and internal components, the built-in safety protection system may temporarily stop charging.
Quick Check
Step 1: Check if the PowerByte Is Warm
If your PowerByte feels warm, unplug the charging cable and let it cool down for 2–3 hours.
Once it has cooled down, plug it back in and try charging again.
Step 2: Try a Different Charging Cable
If it still doesn't charge:
- Try a different USB charging cable.
- Make sure the cable is firmly connected to the PowerByte.
Step 3: Try a Different Power Source
- Try a different wall outlet.
- If you're using a USB wall adapter, try a different adapter rated at 5V/1–2A.
💡 Tip: For best results, keep the volume below 80% while charging to help prevent overheating.
