Quick Note:This setup is designed to distribute microphone audio to multiple speakers within your space. It is not a full PA system replacement and is best for small-to-medium-sized environments where you need to amplify your voice. If you need very loud output, strong bass, or large-scale amplification (e.g., for outdoor events or concert venues), please use a dedicated PA system. The Avantree system serves as an audio distribution layer.
Why This Matters:
- Some wireless microphones may output weak mic-level signals, which might sound too low when directly connected to the speaker.
- Boosting the volume too high can cause distortion.
What You Need:
- Wireless Microphone SetA set with a 3.5mm LINE OUT / AUX OUT receiver (preferred). Here is an example:Wireless Microphone on Amazon
- 3.5mm AUX Extension CableYou’ll need a female-to-male cable to connect the microphone to the Avantree Flex Base (the transmitter). Example:3.5mm AUX Extension Cable
- TRS ONLY (not TRRS)Ensure you use the correct type of AUX cable. TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) is necessary for compatibility with the transmitter.
- Avantree Harmony 2 SystemMake sure the transmitter and compatible speakers are set up and working.
Connection Guide:
Recommended Connection (Best Results):
- Plug the microphone receiver’s LINE OUT / AUX OUT into the Avantree Flex Base's AUX IN port.
- Turn on the microphone and start the Group Listening pairing/broadcast.
- Set the microphone’s output to 50-80% volume, and adjust the speakers to the desired level. This will prevent distortion and provide optimal sound.
Alternative Connection (If Volume is Too Low):If the sound is too low, consider the following:
- Use a mic preamp or PA speaker with mic input and gain control.
Connection Example:
- Microphone Receiver → Preamp → Group Listening Transmitter → Avantree Speakers
