Roadtrip
Volume Too Low?
Check the volume on your phone and Roadtrip. If you need louder sound, play the audio through your car speakers.
Before You Start
Your phone and Roadtrip have separate volume controls. If either volume is too low, the sound will also be low.
1
Turn Up Your Phone Volume
Start playing music or make a call. Then increase the volume on your phone.
Check the Correct Volume
For music or videos, increase the media volume. During a call, increase the call volume.
2
Turn Up the Roadtrip Volume
Rotate the volume knob on Roadtrip to increase the speaker volume.
Still Sounds Unusually Quiet?
Make sure Roadtrip has enough battery power. Recharge it if needed, then test the volume again.
3
Need Louder Sound? Use Your Car Speakers
If Roadtrip's built-in speaker is not loud enough, use FM mode to play the audio through your car speakers.
FM Step 1
Find an unused FM frequency on your car radio.
FM Step 2
Set Roadtrip to the same FM frequency.
FM Step 3
Increase the volume on your car stereo.
Recommended
Use FM mode when you need louder audio. The sound will play through your car speakers instead of only through Roadtrip's built-in speaker.
Hearing Static in FM Mode?
Try another unused FM frequency. Set both your car radio and Roadtrip to the new frequency.
