Static usually happens when the FM frequency used by your Avantree Roadtrip is not completely empty. Setting both the Roadtrip and your car radio to the same unused FM channel typically resolves the issue.
Quick Check
1. On your car radio, manually scan for an empty channel.
2. Scan and choose for a completely empty FM station (only static, no voices or music).
3. Set your Roadtrip FM transmitter to that exact same frequency.
4. Test the audio again.
5. If noise appears while driving, repeat the scan to find a new clear channel.
Most Common Issues / Why This Happens
FM interference happens when nearby or distant radio stations share or overlap the same frequency, especially in cities or when traveling to different areas
💡 Tip:
● If you hear faint music in the background, switch both the radio and Roadtrip to another empty channel until the audio becomes clear .
● Empty channels are often easier to find below 90.0 MHz or above 107.0 MHz.
