Roadtrip Factory Reset
Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History
Clear saved Bluetooth connections and set up your Avantree Roadtrip again.
When Should I Reset the Roadtrip?
Resetting the Roadtrip erases its saved Bluetooth pairing history. This can help if the Roadtrip is having trouble connecting or reconnecting to your phone or another Bluetooth device.
Before You Reset
A factory reset clears the Roadtrip's saved Bluetooth connections. You will need to pair it with your device again afterward.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone, tablet, computer, or other connected device.
- Find Avantree Roadtrip and select Forget, Remove, or Unpair.
- Turn Bluetooth OFF on that device.
- Keep other previously paired Bluetooth devices turned off or out of range during the reset and re-pairing process.
Remove Roadtrip from Your Bluetooth Device
In your device's Bluetooth settings, locate the Roadtrip and Unpair / Forget / Remove it.
After removing it, turn Bluetooth OFF on the device.
Put the Roadtrip into Pairing Mode
Power on the Roadtrip. Then press and hold the pairing button for about 2 seconds until the LED begins flashing RED and BLUE.
PAIRING MODE
RED and BLUE flashing
The Roadtrip is now in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Factory Reset the Roadtrip
While the Roadtrip is still in pairing mode, double-click the pairing button.
RESET CONFIRMATION

You will also hear two beeps.
RESET COMPLETE
RED and BLUE flashing again
The Roadtrip has returned to pairing mode.
Reset successful: If you see the PINK LED and hear two beeps, the Roadtrip's Bluetooth pairing history has been cleared.
Pair the Roadtrip Again
Once the Roadtrip returns to RED and BLUE flashing, it is ready to pair again.
- Turn Bluetooth back ON on your phone or other device.
- Open the device's Bluetooth settings.
- Select Avantree Roadtrip from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
Important: Prevent Automatic Reconnection
Bluetooth devices normally try to reconnect automatically to previously paired devices.
If the Roadtrip keeps connecting to the wrong device, temporarily turn Bluetooth OFF on nearby phones, tablets, computers, or other devices that were previously paired with it.
