If the Roadtrip disconnects or the microphone does not work well, it is usually caused by Bluetooth reconnecting to another device, low battery, or the phone being too far from the unit.
Quick Check
1. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and remove/unpair the Roadtrip.
2. Turn Bluetooth OFF on your phone.
3. Turn the Roadtrip ON and press the pairing button for ~2 seconds until the LED flashes red and blue.
4. While in pairing mode, double-click the pairing button to reset the device.
● The LED flashes pink and you’ll hear two beeps.
5. Turn Bluetooth ON on your phone again. Search for and reconnect to Avantree Roadtrip.
6. Please test and make sure to answer the call through Roadtrip and mic is not muted (solid red)
● Press once the to Mute or unmute microphone
Most Common Issues (Why This Happens)
Temporary Bluetooth pairing glitches, outdated or corrupted pairing records on the phone, automatic reconnection to another device, or interference from nearby Bluetooth device
💡 Tip:
● For louder sound, use the FM transmitter feature to play audio through your car’s speakers. This can significantly increase overall volume.
● Make sure the sepaker is not LOW BATTERY - recharge first if needed
